KLM Airlines Booking

The parent corporation of KLM, the Dutch national airline, is headquartered in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Amstelveen. KLM is the oldest airline in the world that continues using its original name having been established in 1919. Overall, KLM had 32,505 employees in 2013.

It was agreed by the two airlines to merge on September 30, 2003, and subsequently would be under subsidiaries of a holding company called Air France-KLM. Online Booking Process

Policy Regarding Baggage

KLM operates distinct baggage policy checking and taking along the carry-on luggage.

Bring-along Baggage

People in the economy form of flights are permitted to carry a single carry-on baggage, not exceeding 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm (21.5" x 13.5" x 10") and one personal item such as laptop computer or handbag. Each object should be 40 cm by 30 cm by 15 (16" x 12" x 6").

Weight limit is also an issue: the two products cannot total weigh over 12 kg (26 lbs).

Baggage Checked Economy Class

  • One check-in bag. Its weight should not be more than 23 kg and its overall size (L + W + H) cannot exceed 158 cm.
  • Passengers traveling as SkyTeam elite and elite plus and those flying on Blue silver, gold, and platinum flights are allowed to check in an additional bag which is not greater in weight and size limit.
  • Free checked baggage is not included in the tickets of passengers flying on the light fare.

Classes in Cabins

With a KLM reservation, travelers can travel in Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy.

Economy Class

The economy-level of KLM aviation company is comfortable at short-range within Europe and intercontinental flights.

Economy Facility
